Graphic Designer

Mineral.io is looking for a creative Graphic Designer with experience designing and building emails in Klaviyo, among other ESPs. You will work closely with our email marketing specialists and copywriters to design email campaigns, opt-in forms, templates, and other graphic materials for email.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and build graphic materials for our client's email campaigns and flows
  • Design and develop email templates, including icons/UI creation and GIFs
  • Design and then build email templates directly in the Klaviyo builder (No hard-coded HTML needed). Experience with Stripo is a plus.
  • Work with the Creative Director and content team to ideate
  • QA testing emails (dark mode, mobile, outlook, etc.)
  • Create email-specific branding guides
  • Design banners and other graphics using copy provided by our team of copywriters
  • Maintaining high standards in process, design, file naming/structure and presentation

Qualifications

  • Expert-level experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Understanding of dark mode and how to QA test and adjust email designs accordingly.
  • Detail-oriented with a great eye for design—you can follow brand guides, content outlines, copy documents, etc. 
  • 2-5 years of experience as a digital designer at a creative agency or freelance
  • 1-2 years of experience designing graphics for emails
  • Ability to prioritize your workload to accommodate clients that need a quick turnaround.
  • Open to feedback and critique—you should be curious and excited to improve.
  • Ability to work comfortably with style guides without direct client interaction.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience creating animated gifs

The bottom line: We are looking for someone who loves delivering clever and on-brand results. Your role will be integral in maintaining the brand identity and voice in our email campaigns. A strong understanding of lifecycle email marketing is required—much of your time will be spent designing "welcome" sequences, "abandoned carts," "browse abandoned" email campaigns, and more for DTC online brands.

1 We are a fully remote company, but you must reside in the Western Hemisphere and be able to work regular business hours each day.
